The 7th LAWASIA Business Law Conference will be held in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, China, on 10-15 July 2006. The conference is jointly sponsored by China Law Society and LAWASIA, and organized in conjunction with China Legal Exchange Center and the Law Society of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The conference will be held in Xincheng Hotel, the premier five-star hotel in Hohhot, capital city of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Conference delegates are strongly advised to stay at the Xincheng Hotel, as favourable room-rates are offered and all conference sessions will be held in the hotel. 3¡¢Local Transportation
During the conference dates, the local conference host will arrange group transportation by bus to all social events held out of the conference hotel. Transportation is also offered to all delegates to and from Hohhot Airport. To ensure effective arrangements, delegates are requested to inform the Conference Secretariat immediately when their flight schedule is finalized.
Suggested routes for traveling to and from China:
Since there are no direct international flights to and from Hohhot, it is suggested that overseas delegates transit through either Beijing, Shanghai or Guangzhou en route to and from the conference. There are a number of domestic flights between Hohhot and the three cities mentioned above. For those who choose to join the post-conference tour, it will be necessary to transit through Beijing on the return journey.

4¡¢Hotel Accommodation
The conference local host has negotiated discounted room-rates at the conference venue, Xincheng Hotel. To reserve accommodation at this hotel you must complete the accommodation reservation request section on your Delegate Registration Form. Delegates do not need to pay any deposit for hotel reservation but are required to inform the Conference Secretariat immediately if they vary or cancel the hotel reservation.
5¡¢Conference Language
For all sessions, simultaneous interpretation in Chinese and English will be provided. Conference speakers are required to submit their full papers to the Conference Secretariat at least one month before the conference dates so that translation can be arranged.
6¡¢Visas
Foreign delegates must obtain visas to enter China. Each foreign delegate will require a visa-purpose invitation letter signed by, and with the seal of China Law Society. Delegate should submit this letter, along with a visa application to the nearest Chinese Embassy or Consulate. The Conference Secretariat will send the invitation letters to delegates on receipt of registration forms. Delegates are requested to fill in the registration forms clearly, including all details as requested on the form (name, organization, passport number, period of time in China, and conference dates and post-conference tour dates should be included if delegates choose to join the tour).
7¡¢One-day Conference Social Events (13 July 2006; included in registration fee)
After two days of intensive conference discussions, delegates are invited to attend a full day relaxation program to be arranged by the local conference host on July 13, 2006. The program will cover the following items: a visit to Ordos city and Baotou city, a guided tour to the Genghis Khan Mausoleum, a visit to Ordos Cashmere Group Co., Ltd., splendid cultural performances of the Mongolian Wedding Ceremony and popular Mongolian music during lunch and dinner time.
.8¡¢Post Conference Tour (14-15 July 2006, at own cost USD350)
Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region of China has 0.88 million square kilometers of grassland, ranking first among the Four Great Grasslands in China. The autonomous region has beautiful lakes and pastures, thick and ancient forests and the Gobi desert as well as history and culture that existed for centuries. All these have made Inner Mongolia an ideal resort area that is attractive to both domestic and foreign tourists. July and August are the best months for tourism in Inner Mongolia.
The two-day post-conference tour includes a visit to the beautiful grassland scenic resort areas of the Hulunbeir Grassland, Hulun Lake-Pearl on the grassland and the Window of Eastern Asia- Manzhouli city.
This package tour is arranged by the Law Society of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region at the very attractive price of USD350 per person, including domestic flight from Hohhot to Hulunbeir, hotel accommodation (four star hotel) for two nights in Hulunbeir and Manzhouli and tickets for cultural performances. In addition, all lunches and dinners for the two days are provided on a complimentary basis by local governments.
